‘Instant Hedging’ bare root, feathered Hornbeam. Similar to Beech but faster to establish – soft green leaves turn bronze in autumn and are retained through winter. Tolerant of damp soils. Grow on its own or in a mixed hedge or as a pleached hedge on stilts . These young trees are space planted for lateral branch development and cane trained to produce uniformly straight stems.
